Renowned street artist KAWS began his exploration into the new BFF creature in 2016, with a debut at the Central Emabassy in Bankok, Thailand. The bright blue 26-foot tall figure was later expanded into 1,000 plush versions, a vinyl version with MoMA design store and more recently a family of BFFs, including pink and black figures.
