The collection includes images from some of his most highly sought-after series, featuring miniature portraits and still-life compositions. Spontaneous and distinctly personal, these pictures give an insight into his studio sessions and fashion shoots, chronicling the people and subjects of Bailey's life throughout the years.
Bailey's Polaroids are a mystery until opened. Each Polaroid is unique and sealed in an individual envelope, signed by the artist on the reverse, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Collectors are invited to visit Dellasposa Gallery in person to select their Polaroids at random. If ordering online, sealed envelopes will be chosen by chance on the collector's behalf. This is a rare occasion to gain insight into the artist's process while acquiring an original work by David Bailey.
