An interest in in idea of domesticity and gender rolls had begun. i was using dolls house furniture to built mini sculptures that i was then photographing and making paintings...
An interest in in idea of domesticity and gender rolls had begun. i was using dolls house furniture to built mini sculptures that i was then photographing and making paintings from these photographs. The negative spaces were really fascinating. i would trace the gaps between the bits of the furniture sculptures and from these shapes started to create painintgs. The beginnings of my obsession with furniture was beginning.
